The PAQ is a three-day, hands-on training course designed to prepare you for the exam while focusing on developing practical skills that you can immediately apply in your workplace.

The exam consists of a 'hands-on' assessment where candidates receive a product backlog release. This includes user stories, relevant design documentation, and a 'multi-drop' application pre-loaded with defects. Candidates will be provided with clear instructions on the expected outcomes during the practical assessment, allowing them to produce the necessary work products. Additionally, each practical assessment includes one or two scenario-based questions requiring written responses, with a total of up to five such questions covering various competencies. Both the written answers and the product backlog release outputs will be evaluated by an independent assessor. The assessment duration is 2.5 hours.
