SOA Architect Training Course

In this instructor-led, live training in Portugal, participants will learn how to connect various applications, data sources, and APIs as they build a sample routing application using Mule.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

• Design, build, and manage the connectivity between APIs and applications and services.
• Manage interactions across legacy systems and custom applications.
• Tie together software as a service (SaaS) and on-premises software.
• Use Mule's design and development tools to design, test and run Mule flows.
• Understand and support different messaging standards, including AMQP, JMS and WMQ.
• Monitor, deploy and configure applications with Mule Management Console (MMC)

This course is tailored for developers working with web applications, aiming to unlock the potential of the REST architectural style to enable effective communication between different websites.

Our ED-SOA training programme centres on constructing and evaluating an architectural framework that extends the SOA reference architecture. In this model, services function as event generators, signalling issues, potential problems, opportunities, thresholds, or deviations.

While SOA is not exclusive to BPM software, there are several natural synergies between BPM and SOA. Perhaps most obvious of these is the separation of business process management as an independent function, allowing processes to be designed independently of any single application and leveraged as shared business logic.

This course provides an overview of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and SOA Governance. Participants will gain insight into the value added by incorporating service contracts into the development process.

Designed for postgraduate students or those with equivalent qualifications, this course blends theoretical lectures with practical lab sessions.

Modifications to the integration between services or systems necessitate corresponding changes in system design. This course provides guidance on designing maintainable service and system architectures that align with the size and purpose of your organization, along with practical infrastructure strategies.

The course addresses common issues encountered when building distributed application landscapes, ranging from integration challenges, infrastructure concerns, and modern approaches to resolving complexity.

It examines the advantages and disadvantages of various solutions (e.g., traditional SOA versus Microservices architecture) and highlights available tools (primarily open-source) that support development and maintenance.

• Rapidly integrate systems, applications, and data sources within a drag-and-drop Eclipse environment.
