Practical Voice and Video over IP

This three-day, hands-on course explores the fundamental voice protocols used to transmit voice (and video) data across packet-switched networks. The curriculum blends theoretical knowledge with practical application, employing Wireshark for explanation and troubleshooting where relevant. Participants configure VoIP systems using IP telephones, softphones, and voice-enabled Cisco routers. While this is essentially a 'generic' VoIP course, it utilizes Cisco equipment to establish the IP backbone and voice gateways. We also offer Cisco-specific voice training courses upon request. Additionally, the course addresses call setup procedures between circuit-switched and packet-switched networks.

Approximately 40% of the course is dedicated to practical exercises.
