Process mining, also known as Automated Business Process Discovery (ABPD), is a methodology that utilizes algorithms on event logs to analyze business processes. This approach transcends mere data storage and analysis by connecting data directly to processes, thereby offering valuable insights into the trends and patterns that influence process efficiency.

Course Format

• The course begins with an overview of the most prevalent process mining techniques. We examine various process discovery algorithms and tools designed for modeling processes from raw event data. Real-world case studies are explored, and datasets are analyzed using the ProM open-source framework.
