We recently successfully completed a RabbitMQ consultancy engagement for the Royal College of Psychiatrists in the UK:

We consulted several potential providers of RabbitMQ expertise. It was then straightforward to quickly select NobleProg to support our efforts to scale the website, as they engaged immediately by enquiring about the steps already taken and their outcomes, joined us in narrowing down the areas to investigate, and ensured they would provide the correct skillset to advance the investigation.

Following the initial discussions, it was agreed that someone with both deep RabbitMQ knowledge and comfort in the .NET environment was required, and this was exactly what was provided. After being granted access to the test site and code, the NobleProg consultant swiftly identified the primary issue affecting RabbitMQ connections and offered both tactical and long-term architectural fixes for the problem.

After implementing the recommended RabbitMQ connection changes, our load testing demonstrated that the immediate issue was resolved. However, questions remained regarding the manageability of the site using the configuration options within the code, as well as a potential future bottleneck that was evident in the load testing beyond current usage. At this point, the consultant's ability to look beyond RabbitMQ and quickly understand the application itself was extremely helpful, providing not just a fix for the immediate issue but also a significantly more manageable system with the 'tomorrow's bottleneck' also addressed.

Implement Jmeter scripts (jmx files) to load-test the RabbitMQ deployment.
Analyse results and enhance performance following load testing.
